Okay, so I wanted to tell you about this place. It's my local shop, and honestly, it always has the best of everything. The staff there are really friendly and very helpful. Someone else went to Ascend today to acquire some medical marijuana for a friend of theirs. They told the individual at the counter that they prefer to deal directly with him, but he told them that they would have to place the order through the kiosk. They politely said that it was an inconvenience and they were going to go to a different place next time. He actually said they could just go to one right now and asked them to leave the store. This person mentioned they are an older gentleman with compromised sight and appreciate the personal touch when making purchases. They wondered if this young man realizes that that kiosk that he wants them to use so desperately is going to replace him someday. They felt you have to ask yourself if you are friends with the machine or humanity and that we're in big trouble when society demands that you integrate your personal experience with robots. Unfortunately for that young man, they don't think customer service is his strong suit. Why they would put someone like that dealing with the public is beyond them. No hard feelings, they said they'll just take their business down the road, it's no issue for them. But they felt it's a bad business concept for that establishment though and they would work on resolution training for that guy because he has none. So, yeah, it seems like most people have a really positive experience at this cannabis dispensary in Illinois, noting the friendly staff, great selection, and helpfulness, especially at the Ascend cannabis dispensary in Chicago Ridge, whether they are getting recreational cannabis or medical for a friend. But, like with anywhere, it sounds like you can sometimes encounter someone who might not be having the best day or isn't the right fit for customer service.
