Hey, wanted to tell you what I've heard about this place people are talking about. Seems like lots of folks are having good experiences at a recreational cannabis dispensary in Chicago. Specifically, there's a lot of buzz about BLOC cannabis dispensary in Chicago. One person just loves this place, saying they have real good sales and a points system. They mentioned it's super clean too. Plus, their staff sounds amazing! The security guards and main desk guys are described as super sweet and serious bout their job – someone even gave them a shout-out saying thank you. They found the best deals there compared to anywhere else in the entire north side so far. From the moment they walked in to the moment they walked out, they said they enjoyed this dispensary! They thought they had the greatest staff and best selection of products. And get this, you can ask them about their market days every first Saturday of the month and game day deals! Someone else is loving this new dispensary in the neighborhood, mentioning great customer service and great products. 💚 Another review called it an awesome spot with good vibes, gorgeous art, and super chill staff. For one person, it was their first time there and David took excellent care of them; they said they will for sure be back! Helen was amazing for someone else – she helped them pick up a couple products and even a cute doobie dog toy for their puppy! Someone else mentioned that BLOC had such pretty smoking accessories too and definitely recommends checking them out. They had a great experience coming in on Holy Easter 4/20. Tila was a great rep, the men at the front were welcoming, and everyone treated them like they were welcome. They said thanks again, Tila, and finished with Praise and Blaze! Someone else was very impressed with BLOC after visiting for the first time. They purchased a couple of products and said the store is laid out very well, with many products on display. The staff are described as extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and prices are said to be more than fair. A huge bonus mentioned is the free parking in the back. They plan to be back for sure! Someone even went so far as to say Bloc Dispensary is the best one they've been to around the Chicago area. The customer service was nice and efficient, and they got Grade A bud. Based on their visit, maybe it's the best cannabis dispensary in Illinois for them? They said they'll be making a return soon. Now, there was one review that shared a completely different, difficult experience. Someone cut their thumb on a Thursday after opening a broken, jagged jar with the lid and seal still on, which they purchased at Bloc dispensary on Kedzie. They called it a nightmare. They were on their way to Minneapolis and it bled everywhere, spending their train ride in pain with a thumb that wouldn't stop bleeding. They spent their trip in pain. They called the dispensary and explained the situation, and were told the message would be passed on to the manager. However, no one reached out at all, which they felt was not kool. They mentioned posting pictures so this never happens to anyone again. There was an update to that review. They said they were compensated, but with an attitude. The person who handled it didn't want to replace the strain they originally purchased and they actually had to argue to have their strain replaced. They said they were instead given products that were not their preference and subpar prerolls first. When the strain was finally replaced, the $25 credit they originally offered was taken back. No apology was given. The female little blond manager specifically is mentioned as having an attitude and treating the person like they were in the wrong, which they called horrible service. The review did give a shout out to the front desk guy who was the only person who asked if they were compensated and said sorry that it happened. So, yeah, sounds like overall positive vibes and great staff for most people, but that one experience with the broken product and the follow-up sounds pretty rough.
