OKAY Cannabis West Town – Cannabis Dispensary in Chicago, Illinois

Okay, so I was looking for a cannabis dispensary in Chicago, you know? I was looking for the all black owned dispensary and stumbled upon this place. I heard someone mention they 'identify as black owned' because they have a black investor. I don't like the 'identify as' part AT ALL!!! Also heard someone bought some joints and none of them burned well and they were as expensive as they were. But let me tell you about my experience. It was my first time here. We were greeted kindly as soon as we entered. Before letting us in, we were informed that if we went next door and bought some baked goods, we'd get a discount on our purchase there. Naturally we did that. Inside, the dispensary was clean and organized. It's a clean, colorful and no-frills space. Super friendly people all the way from security to the budtenders. The staff is very enjoyable, helpful, and knowledgeable. Amazing staff, great place. There was a nice selection. Medium size selection but they have great brands at reasonable prices. Phenomenal products. They have my favorite product. Great value. Best of all they have a rewards program that links with other 50fifty establishments in the area. You get a free beer or free coffee from Roots/West Town bakery with minimum purchase too. The weed did the job for our music festival and hot tub pizza afterwards haha. It felt like a perfect stop at a recreational cannabis dispensary in Chicago. I love this place! Lovely addition to the neighborhood. I'm extremely happy with my purchases every time. I usually pop in on a whim! Always come back to drop in. I will continue to frequent this place. Finding a cannabis dispensary in Illinois where the staff are this amazing makes all the difference. Oh, and it's dog friendly! Wish we could hang our dogs leash inside the security corridor (not the actual dispensary) so we could shop longer comfortably, but still cool they welcome them. Special shout out to all the insightful cast & crew like Ashley, Leseth, Joe, Chris, Alex, George, Noah, JJ, Ethan, Mike, Ed, Justin, Ryan, Miles, Armand, and all the other All-Stars on the roster at the Rogers Park location. Thanks guys, you rock, and may you all have a blessed new year🙏. Seriously, when you find a spot with people like that, it feels like you've found a truly OKAY cannabis dispensary in Chicago.
