Mystic Greenz Decatur – Cannabis Dispensary in Decatur, Illinois

Hey everyone! So, I was chatting with some friends about places to check out, specifically a cannabis dispensary in Decatur. We started talking about Mystic Greenz cannabis dispensary in Decatur, and it sounds like people have had a real mix of experiences there. One friend mentioned they've been to this location previously and never had issues, which is good to hear. Someone else said they just love all the staff honestly and to keep up the great work y'all are doing amazing. Great staff nice layout, and it's nice to come into a facility seeing how proper everything is. People seem to love talking to these people about what's current in the market as it seems they have a good idea of what's on the horizon. Connor and Krissy were called out as amazing and so helpful, and someone else had Tiffany who was an amazing help on a sale day, getting them out the door quickly. That person is definitely returning, saying the staff is kind and fast and willing to help answer any questions! Very nice people overall, and a friend visiting from another state said she got good deals there. But then, you hear other stories. Someone had a really frustrating time. They asked if there were any "register specials," explaining they were talking about daily specials offered normally at the register/counter. The employee didn't know what they were referring to. While the employee was gone, they saw a paper on the counter that said "flash sales" and had two products listed. When the employee returned, they let him know that was what they were referring to, the "flash sale." He still seemed not to know what they were talking about, so they handed him the paper and he said oh yeah that. They asked if they could get one of each item. He went to the back to get it. In the meantime the gentleman next to them ordered and asked about the sale, saying he also wanted the items. Their staff member came back and said they sold out. He proceeded to ring them out. On the way to the car, the guy that was ordering next to them said they weren't really out of the items, that he purchased them no problem. They went back inside to inquire about it and the manager was very rude, said that the employee they had just didn't know where it was, that they could purchase it now. They told her that they used a card and was already charged the 4.00 fee. She told them that they would have to pay it again. They were frustrated because one of the items was 5.00 so they were in essence buying the item twice due to the staff members error. She then proceeded to tell them that they shouldn't have even seen the paper about the flash sale that it was supposed to be behind the counter. They explained there were multiple of these papers on the counter. They were Never offered an apology from the manager. However the reception/check in lady was very nice about it and apologized for the way the manager treated them. Just unsatisfied with the staff knowledge as well as their inventory system that they didn't know where the products were at, as well as the rude manager. Other folks have mentioned speed issues. Better off driving to Champaign or Springfield, someone commented. They Often have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to place an order and get if from this location. They’ve got a good variety of stuff that’s for sure but they’re so slow. It literally takes less time to drive over to Champaign and shop at a different store and make it all the way back to Decatur before you get through their line. Been here twice both times took an hour and a half to two hours to wait. Oh, and not to mention, prices in Champaign are gonna be cheaper as well for the same exact product. They overcharge here. So you save time and money just going to Champaign. There was one small thing about the counter setup – not even the counter but the signage. Someone went ahead and placed a order and stood there at the in-store order line thinking that's where they went to pick up their in-store order. It's the line at the very end of the counter by the wall, just go there if you place an order at the kiosk. Other than that small little hiccup, it's considered a great place that does industry discount. So yeah, it sounds like a mixed bag for this recreational cannabis dispensary in Decatur. It is a cannabis dispensary in Illinois, and experiences can vary wildly from visit to visit, or even person to person! Some find the staff amazing and quick, others find them lacking knowledge and the waits super long with higher prices than neighboring cities. No wonder some people are Excited for the Forsyth dispensary to open so they have another option to go to!
