Ascend Springfield – Cannabis Dispensary in Springfield, Illinois

Hey, so I wanted to tell you about my experience at this place, a cannabis dispensary in Springfield. Cresco is that ish!! Great place, with really good discounts!! I love a ascend locations. It's always a great experience and the staff is very helpful. I had a few questions that I was concerned about concerning a product and they were able to answer the best that they could. I will keep coming back in the future. I mean, there's this Ascend cannabis dispensary in Springfield that has more products generally that the other location and they sometimes have waaay better sales on some products. Way better selection than Quincy. Better prices and not taxed like Quincy. All the staff has been so super friendly my last few visits too. They've been super helpful and also has a good supply of pieces at really decent prices. A young lady who waited on my wife was very helpful. Sorry I don't know her name. I also got help from the phone service getting my order confirmation. I will be making a monthly trip to your place. Product selection was very nice. Staff was decent. I love this place. Now, a heads-up if you're heading to a recreational cannabis dispensary in Springfield, or really any cannabis dispensary in Illinois. Nobody tells you as a first-time customer, you better have a hard copy of your medical card. Otherwise, you will have to go through a process of connecting to their printer or emailing them a copy. There is no notification in this on their website or app when ordering this is required. I'm happy I keep my card as a PDF on my phone. Once inside the way the line works is not clear and not organized. After 5 minutes of standing there I was told to bring my medical card and license and leave it on the table to receive my order..... A customer standing behind me told me to do this, not an employee. The employees are nice, but the design and service operations are not well thought out. Another thing to be prepared for at this location, it can be hard to find parking and when you do find parking you are always harassed by the people who are outside on the sidewalk asking for money. Also you now have to back into the parking spots which is also not easy. Also, be prepared to have people outside the front door Panhandling. I know they can't control that to a certain extent, but just be aware. First thoughts was how sketchy it looked with the bum encampment right out front next to the front door. When I went in no security, but maybe he was just on break or something. Building just seemed older too. I would suggest by going before 6pm if you go between 6-7pm expect to get asked for money by atleast one person but more like 2 or 3. I heard they might be closing the curbside pickup. I use this frequently and would be very upset if there was no curbside. Please keep the curbside open. Please please please don't close the curbside pickup. I would hate to have to find a new location to use my medical card. Oh, and someone mentioned this advice, which is worth thinking about: medical marijuana and marijuana period is very addictive and can lead to other health problems. It helps, but pray before use in any way. After you consume marijuana yes get a help for awhile but the pain, etc is still there. It might help with one problem for a minute but the medical problem is still there even if have not been bothered with in awhile! Get good pillow and have snacks some may need start going to weight watchers! Eat lots of vegetables and water and do not just depend on marijuana and don't stop taking your medicine prescribe by doctor this can cause an unwanted problem with you and even others that care for you! Despite some of the issues, this store is worth it. I want to update thus post after several more visits. Maybe next time I'll try during the day.
