Hey, so I was hearing some stuff about this cannabis dispensary in Springfield, you know? Like, trying to get a feel for what people think. Apparently, this place, Ascend cannabis dispensary in Springfield, can be pretty great for some folks. One person had an absolutely incredible experience – they said it's a great store, great experience, top shelf stuff and deals all the time, every day. They even got called by name, their order was ready super early, and the checkout was quick and easy even with changes. Caleb was mentioned as being great, and the whole thing was super efficient, like 5/5 stars material, even got free stickers! Sounds awesome, right? But then, you hear some other things that make you scratch your head. Like, one person loved going there until they found out that apparently they round your total up to the nearest $5 and *keep* the difference. They felt like the amount they've "stole" from not just them but daily from every customer is a crazy amount, saying every other dispo gives you the difference back in cash. Then there are some really tough reviews about the service. Someone called it the worst service ever and said they'll never visit either of their dispensaries in Springfield anymore. It sounds like one employee, James Smith, was particularly called out as being extremely rude and reportedly will harass you while you're in the store, so they recommended staying away. It seems like there are major frustrations, especially if you're a medical patient. One review said straight up "Medical Card NOT accepted" and that the charge rates are "astronomical." While someone else mentioned "Nice staff," others felt this location could give a shit less about their medical patients. The medical patient curbside, in particular, sounds like a nightmare – always a shit show whether they are closed or you have recreational cannabis dispensary in Springfield people parking in the medical patients curbside parking for whatever reason. This apparently leaves medical patients waiting in ongoing traffic for their spots, even though security is telling people they can't park there if they aren't curbside. People found this very frustrating and felt they do not value medical patients whatsoever, with one person saying they would give 0 stars if they could and won't continue to go there. Even delivery drivers had a bad time, with one just delivering food but having an extremely unpleasant experience with one of the employees, rating it 0/10 and not recommending it. And if you're just walking in without an online order and need help? Apparently, nobody will help you or answer your questions. They'll just ask if you have an online order, and if you say no because you prefer someone to answer your questions, they just tell you "here’s a terminal" and walk away. It sounds like it’s an awful experience unless you know exactly what you need. So yeah, quite a mix of feedback for this cannabis dispensary in Illinois, wouldn't you say?
