Okay, let me tell you about this place. If you're looking for a cannabis dispensary in Waukegan, seriously, you HAVE to check out Ivy Hall. It's without a doubt the GO TO dispensary in the area. I've tried every other place around, and Ivy Hall just takes the cake. Honestly, the staff is amazing. Super helpful and friendly, every single one of them. In the two years I've been going, I've never had a bad experience, which is almost impossible to say about any business these days. Everyone who works here is just awesome. Alex and Mina, I see them almost every time I'm in, and they're the best, but truly, everyone is extremely nice, knowledgeable, and professional with a very friendly disposition. They're always willing to share their experiences with different strains and how they worked for them, but they're cool about reminding you that they might work differently for you. Lately, Mina has been my go-to person, but they are all very helpful. The staff is courteous and efficient. When you get there, you'll likely be greeted right away by a gentleman like Manny. He welcomes you, checks your ID right away, and tells you all about the great deals – because they always have some great promotion or deals going on, great sales all the time it seems! He'll remind you about online pre-ordering as well, very helpful. Then, boom, he buzzes you in. You walk in, and you get hit with this sweet aromatic smell – owee! The place is always clean, which I appreciate. The environment is pretty chill, and the vibes are amazing. Most of the time, they've got music playing in the background, but it's at a volume where you can still easily have a conversation and even sing along while you wait in line. Every employee there knows the business; they know EACH product from pre-rolls to ointment they call tinctures. They're very informative and they don't make you feel like you're asking "dumb" questions. You can always ask the budtenders anything on products, they've always got great tips! They even have drinks! Ask for Mina, she’s awesome. Raven will let you know exactly what you need, and Jaime is bilingual for my gente! They have a great selection and the prices are really affordable; honestly, you can't beat it, especially with the additional early bird and last bird call discounts. If you're a new customer, the staff is super nice and explains the new customer process and the Rewards Program right away, which totally makes you want to return. They make you feel comfortable and make it much easier knowing what to look forward to as far as product selection and what rewards can be obtained. The location is great, but I will mention the parking area could be bigger. I counted just one handicap space, and there are no automatic doors, so it's not really handicap accessible. But overall, this place has been my store of choice since they opened. I've tried every other recreational cannabis dispensary in Waukegan, and Ivy Hall is the best. I definitely hands down recommend this place to all my fellow 420 friendly peeps. We definitely LOVE this place and will be future customers recommending it to friends and family.
