Maribis Westchester – Cannabis Dispensary in Westchester, Illinois

Hey, so I wanted to tell you about some experiences I've heard about when folks are looking for a cannabis dispensary in Westchester. I heard from one person that, well, "This place sucks." They thought it was super expensive. They asked their bud tender about getting 8ths for $30 or under when they weren't on sale, and apparently, the staff person was really rude about it. They even said that if they did offer that, it would just be "bunk weed." Doesn't sound great, huh? Another person mentioned there are "Better options and prices elsewhere." They specifically shouted out Trinity for helping them out. But it's not all bad news! Someone else described a place as a "Nice clean establishment with awesome staff." That's always good to hear, right? And another review mentioned "Great service, good brands, always running some sort of deal." So it sounds like some places are definitely trying on the customer service and pricing front. Now, specifically talking about the Maribis cannabis dispensary in Westchester, I heard a few things. One person thanked them for taking care of them and looking out for promotions. They went in just to pick up some pre-rolls. But then they ran into a bit of a snag, saying, "Unless I'm missing something, I do believe I didn't get everything I purchased." They got about half a gram less in one pre-roll (the Terp Stix) compared to another (the Sour Diesel), even though both were supposed to be a gram. They thought the Terp Stix might have been two cones, but only found one when they opened it. The Sour Diesel cone was used for comparison since it was a full gram. Then there's the really tough stuff I heard. Someone else had a terrible experience with customer service. They arrived just before 9 pm, called to say they were parking, and the guy on the phone told them they'd closed early. When they pointed out it wasn't 9 pm yet, he put them on hold to "ask" and never came back. When they tried calling back, it went straight to voicemail. They called it "Awful customer service." Prices came up again too, especially comparing to places outside the state. One person said, "GO TO MICHIGAN, they have Cresco ounces $83." And then they specifically called out Maribis, saying, "This place (Maribis) is trying to charge $400 for an ounce ,,,,,the same brand !! Haha, no thanks, I'll take the ride to Michigan and buy 4 ounces for $400." That's a pretty big difference! Another really frustrating story I heard was about change. Someone said, "The guy at the counter shorted my change and claimed he thought it was a tip. Really???" They called it "Shady" and said they would "NEVER go back." And for folks visiting from out of town, one review was a strong warning: "Do not come here if you are from out of town. The staff are terrible at their jobs and will refuse to help you." Interestingly, that same person went to the next closest cannabis dispensary in Illinois and "they got me exactly what I was looking for." So it seems experiences can vary a lot even nearby. Ending on some strong opinions I heard – one person flat out said, "Maribis IS A JOKE 🤣". So yeah, looking for a recreational cannabis dispensary in Westchester or anywhere in Illinois really, it seems like you might have some really good experiences with helpful staff and deals, but also potentially run into issues with high prices, shorted product or change, and really poor customer service. It sounds like it pays to look around and maybe know what you're getting into.
