Okay, so I was looking into the cannabis dispensary in Westmont and checking out what people are saying, specifically about the Curaleaf cannabis dispensary in Westmont. It's kind of wild how different the experiences sound! Some people absolutely love it. Like, seriously love it. One person said it's the bestttt dispo in the area, mentioning the workers are ALWAYS soooo nice. They get amazing deals and quick pick ups, which sounds pretty convenient. There were shout-outs to specific staff too, like Kathleen (or maybe that’s her name!) who helps a lot and makes them look forward to their time there, saying they seriously love this place and it’s always a 10/10. Another person’s second visit was every bit as perfect as the first, praising the friendly, knowledgeable folks with a warmth of service they wish was present in every retail business, and hey, they even cashed in their Birthday Discount! Someone else thought Jessica was great to work with, being very knowledgeable and patient with a very personable demeanor. And apparently, a nice guy at the counter recommended some cool TV shows – little touches like that are neat. The order was ready super quick for them too. Across multiple reviews, the staff are consistently described as always very friendly and knowledgeable. They also seem to consistently have the best prices and deals, and their website/menu for on-line ordering is described as absolutely the best. There's this really heartwarming review from a 57 yr old mom whose two 30ish sons are active recreational users now that it became legal here in Illinois. Her oldest took her to her first cannabis dispensary in Illinois to show her the ropes. About 3 years ago, she went to this Curaleaf location for the first time on her own. She had no idea what she wanted and felt overwhelmed by all the different types of products. But she said one of the budtenders came over, introduced himself, listened to her intently, spent a lot of time with her and helped her purchase exactly what she wanted. Even though she’s still pretty much a novice, every single time she comes to this store, it never matters which employee assists her – she ALWAYS feels like a VIP. That’s why she won’t go anywhere else. She ended it saying keep up the great work and thank you. That really speaks volumes about the service at this recreational cannabis dispensary in Westmont for some customers. However, it's not all glowing. There are some definite frustrations. Someone contacted them via phone and email regarding a product not working properly and got no help whatsoever. They typically don’t write bad reviews but felt obligated to let the public know, saying Curaleaf is a complete sell out and has poor customer service. They even updated their review saying they’d emailed numerous times with no contact back. Another really rough experience was with a purchase from a Saturday. When they opened the product on Sunday, it was more than half gone, the box was soaked, and the lid wasn’t screwed on properly. They promptly emailed, then called when they didn't hear back, were told they'd hear something via email by Wednesday or Friday, but didn't. Called again, gave information to be passed to the manager, and still hadn't heard anything by the following Saturday. This person felt it was a horrible way to treat customers, let alone medical patients or veterans, and said they’d never give them business again regardless of the situation being resolved, preferring to drive a few hours to somewhere that cares about its customers. That sounds incredibly frustrating, right? Someone did mention a knock they’ve had with this location is the parking situation, especially when the store is busy. Seems like it can get crowded. But on the flip side again, someone mentioned this Curaleaf in Westmont met expectations they’ve become accustomed to expecting out of any Curaleaf dispensary within the Chicagoland area, having gone to the ones in New Lenox and Worth. They thought this one was an extremely good choice, especially when you are near Oakbrook, and highly recommend giving them a chance to earn your business for your cannabis needs ™️. So yeah, it seems like when things go well, people have fantastic experiences with friendly, knowledgeable staff, great deals, and quick service. But if you run into an issue with a product or need customer service follow-up, it sounds like that can be a real challenge based on a couple of these reviews. Definitely a mixed bag depending on who you ask!
